Clean and well-maintained rooms.
The bathroom was uncomfortably cramped, lacking basic supplies. I had an off-putting encounter with a rude staff member when inquiring about our parking. Additionally, the noise from the hallways was disruptive and made it hard to enjoy our stay.

central hub for exploring parks and city attractions
I had a lovely one-night stay and enjoyed the free valet parking for my hybrid car and the easy check-in process, both made my arrival stress-free, while the hotel's prime location allowed me to stroll to nearby spots like the beautiful Memorial Park, just a few minutes away for a refreshing walk and the vibrant Hamilton Central Shopping Centre, perfect for a quick shopping spree or grabbing a bite to eat. it's definitely a cozy base for a weekend wanderer like me, but the dining experience could use a bit of an upgrade, as mentioned by other guests.

I had a nice stay at Ibis in Hamilton. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed felt really comfortable. I loved waking up to views of the river. they were stunning! The buffet breakfast was excellent, full of great choices. However, I expected to pay an extra $32 per night for parking, which was a surprise. Also, the walls seemed thin. I could hear some noise from the corridor and someone snoring next door. The air conditioning unit was pretty noisy too. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, which made a positive impact on my stay. Just a few tweaks needed to make it even better.

missingWrote a review on 07 Septcentral locationbuffet breakfastpoor soundproofing
The location in the downtown area offers easy access to local attractions and eateries. The buffet breakfast spread includes a range of options, though the timing for replenishment could use improvement.
The lobby being on the second floor makes it inconvenient for some, especially those with luggage. The lack of clear signage about the elevator contributed to some guests' struggles. Noise disturbances from neighbors and outside can easily disrupt sleep, while the shower's inconsistent temperature hindered a comfortable experience. The overall room décor appears dated, and a lack of basic amenities like an extra blanket or proper shower head adjustment was noticeable.

Comfortable stay with a lovely view
I stayed for one night in a Standard King or Twin Room, and it was quite enjoyable! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the beautiful view of the river. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious options like crispy bacon and flavorful scrambled eggs. However, the parking situation could be improved, as I was informed about the valet fees only upon arrival.

Enjoyed a fantastic riverside location with lovely pathways for walking. The room was spacious and comfortable, complemented by a superb breakfast featuring delightful home-baked bread. The atmosphere felt more upscale compared to typical options, but the lobby could be busier during peak hours, making some services delayed. A handy printed menu was appreciated over the QR code setup, though a couple of menu items ran out during my stay. Service was generally fine, but a more attentive approach would enhance the experience.
